(As-Swaffaath) 37 : 138
وَبِاللَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
And in the night, then don’t you utilize your intelligence?
Meccan pagans traveled to and from Syria (Shaam) for business purposes, passing through Sodom, the place where the people of Prophet Looth resided. Through this verse, the Meccan pagans and the people of the Last Day are warned to learn from the consequences faced by the people of Looth, as explained in verse 11: 83.
